White Dove {Process Post}

Finally got around to compiling a quick process GIF of drawing this picture! :) This drawing went through a drew lineart rounds before I am finally satisfied with it. 

Drawing each leaf individually is such a pain >_< A good life hack I have for drawing leaves is to draw one side first and then piece together the other side using leaves that you already drawn. That is why I did for this picture. I pretty much drew bunches of leaves and then scatter them around and copy them and then kinda edit the leaves really quickly so it looks random. It saves a lot of time. 

I accidentally deleted it but after I finished the lineart, I also drew a human stick figure beneath to check the proportions. That's when I noticed her feet are at the wrong place and so I fixed them. :>
