Thoughts on Practicing and Cameras {Process Post}

Hello, it has been a while since my last post but I got a little bit of time today to write something that's on my mind and that is cameras! 

I really wanted to improve my ability to render more. Rendering is basically drawing real life objects accurately. I love the style where the character is super stylized next to objects that look super realistic. But it is not a style I am good at and I don't think I will truly be really great at. But I want to improve a little on it ^^

My latest obsession is on cameras or really now beautiful and technical a camera looks. Last week, I was pondering about the idea of cameras and memento mori. I want to interpret it as an angelic character taking pictures. 

I sketched the image above as practice. But I wonder I can push the concept further so I drew a few more sketches:

When I sketch these, in my head, are thoughts of stillness, transience and contemplation. In the end, I haven't got time to finish any of these images, but they are scribbled in my head for now. 

It's a concept I wish to keep exploring because I love the details of the camera and the meaning of what it can capture.
