Terraform {Process Post}

Postcard and sticker designs for November's Patreon month theme, Terraform. 

The character in this month's theme is an optimistic and hard-working space explorer who worked on beautifying her world. For November, I wanted to do a bright and colorful scheme, a direct opposite of Fossil and pinks/purples are colors I wanted to try for a while. I'm really glad it worked out and it made the drawings feel so soft!

I designed her outfit to be similar to a space suit but space suits feels clunky to me. So I made it a bit more stylish, almost like a coat. She can removed her space suit because she is wearing an insulated black suit on the bottom but the space suit keeps her protected and warmer. She is more of a scientist type, in the postcard, she uses test tubes to capture plant specimens and she uses a beaker to water plants.

I also wanted to show time in this theme. When she arrived on the planet, her hair was short but after a while, her hair grew longer. In the postcard picture, I draw her without a helmet because I want to imagine that it is possible to breath oxygen in a terraformed world. I want to make her cry with happiness to see her hard work have paid off >.<

The plant growing out of her helmet on the pin design is a creative element to show a bit more of the pin theme (I just thought it was cute xD)
