Snowflake {Process Post}
Hello, this is such a super late post! November is a pretty heavy month for me as I ended up exhibiting almost every weekend! BUT I THINK THERE IS NO CONVENTIONS IN DECEMBER! ; w; /

And finally I get to post December theme reward for the postcard and sticker sheet and it is "Snowflake"
I started conceptualizing her idea a few months back as I normally like to "stew" over several patreon ideas at once. Her design changed quite a bit!
Originally her theme was supposed to be a girl who dresses like summer but lives in the winter! Even a few months back, I wanted to give her a more stoic expression with a bit of mystery to it. As I continued to refine her design, I started wanted to bring in more of a snowflake element since as a pin design, its important to focus on the head of the character.
So I gave her a snowflake halo. After all, she comes with the snow. Her design reflects my feelings towards snow and snowflake a lot. She needed a lot more snowflake symbol so I gave her a comfy cardigan but still make sure that she is wearing strangely light clothes for the winter months. Her hair is fluffy with gentle movement.
For the postcard and sticker design, I wanted the feeling of "silence" in snowfall. Its the reason why I scrapped the initial two postcard ideas. There is too much energy and movement in it when I wanted something more ephemeral.
This was also tough to show but in her original design, her umbrella has a snowflake motif in the back. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fully show it haha. But I hope that you like her character design. As for me, she is one of my favorites as she has all the elements I love: blue, fluffy hair, cozy scarf and seasonal vibes! ; w;/
