Snow Flower {Process Post}

So much for my plan to just doodle for the next few weeks! >_< 

This is a doodle I ended up enjoying drawing so much that I decided to finesse it a bit and then...I spent too long on it. My winter mood is really making me draw a lot of snow related things! 

I love plants in snow so much and I am really happy that the drawing ended looking chilly but with a burst of color. The guy flower is lightly referenced from a snow crocus and the girl flower is referenced from a plum blossom. (not 100% accurate on both and I edited the colors a lot to match) When looking at flowers for reference, I sorta just go: "it feels like this" but I really want to draw accurate flowers in the future. I think my flowers drawing skills are getting faster too so that's good! 

I want to show their full outfit in the future so hope you can look forward to them again. (if time's willing!)
