Snail Mail {Process Post}

Hello and good day! I want to share my design for January Patreon postcard and sticker design for Snail Mail!

For the month of January, I will be doing a double sided postcard and a sticker sheet. Snail mail's delivery driver's outfit is inspired by vintage postal uniform. I did a quick search and found a longer coat design that looks really interesting to dress her up in. Her colors are also based off vintage postal inspiration boards but I feel that the hit of bright red helps modernize the design a little bit! She wear shorts because I want to give her a more tomboyish look. 

The bicycle angle and style is also influenced by vintage bikes. You can see on my inspiration board, the style of bikes I am influenced by, with the mental basket holder for mail and the simple bike shape! My experience in drawing bikes is still not as good so its difficult to get the details correct but I'm getting better at coloring wheels! 

Since the theme is "snail" mail, she must have a matching snail buddy! I draw a little snail helper who is too slow to deliver mail but will ride with her to different locations! ^ o^ / And to add more to the theme, I made her cap have a snail motif! And that is how Snail Mail Postal Service is born!
