Practicing Study Sketches {Process Post}

Hello, I've been pretty busy lately drawing March pin rewards and working on shipping out orders in general so not much time to draw for fun. ; - ; So today I just want to share something simple out of my practice folder. 

I have a weird way to learn how to improve since I don't know how to draw other than anime style. But I like to look at real life reference and learn how to do textures and poses from that. I will do these sketches whenever I feel stuck/art block or just want to get faster with drawing certain poses. 

I don't post these online because they use too much of a real life reference.

Drawing Fashion

When I go window shopping online, sometimes, I will go, I do like that jacket, or I like those shoes haha. I will take a screenshot of the model and pose and I will redraw the character into my style to study the clothing will work in a super stylized way.

Drawing Poses

Same thing with poses, I like to draw based on reference. For these sketches, I like to focus more on where the wrinkly is folding on the body and how the light is hitting wrinkle. To me, I find doing life drawings really boring (AND IT IS but I understand it is necessary) but when I try to study in a anime style, it's funner for me.
