Pondering {Process Post}

Drawing I did for XP-PEN. Since it's the first drawing I did with their tablet, I thought it will be a good idea to make a GIF of the process and show my fumbling sketches as I get used to using it. When I started coloring it though, I got too into it and forgot to save the progress >_<, but it was standard to how I normally color. 

Not advertising it here since the company don't read my Patreon posts but I actually surprise how good even starter tablets are now. When I bought my cintiq13HD 3 yrs ago there wasn't a lot of options of similar quality but now the competition is pretty fierce. (still going to keep using my Cintiq though because I have my settings just right on it ^ u^ )

For this drawing, I experimented blurring the background using the Glassian Blur tool on Photoshop and thought it was a nice way to focus more on the character. I might try using more blur in the future. 

EDIT: I saved the GIF incorrectly so there is floating text when there wasn't supposed to be. I'm not able to remove it so it's kinda just there now. ; -; Hopefully it doesn't bother the image too much.
