Out of a Birdcage

A couple of drawings I did of my bird character OCs. I posted the first picture of the white hair girl on twitter and going to post the yellow hair girl next. 

I designed this illustration to be a matching pair and I thought it looks super cool how the white space is broken up in the drawing! There's a lot of care in drawing their faces too as I tried to create the feeling of sereneness and loneliness. 

I will be adding these two pages to my long waiting zine project of them! Lately I took a look at my drawings and ahh my style for these two changed a lot in only 5 months! x_x I think I improved a lot over these months and I feel like I have more and more patience for detailed backgrounds. ^^ 

Since they are super similar in how I drew them, I will be posting the working files for the yellow hair canary and later will post the process gif for the white hair dove! <3
