Maid Day {Process Post}

I was pretty away from Twitter for the last couple of days so I missed out on Maid Day! Quickly I drew Melan holding a cat. :D Melan looks different each time so I wonder if you can even recognize her when I draw her. 

I'm learning how to draw more realistic cats lately. Before I will just draw a cat with dot eyes but I think its useful to learn how to do a more serious face. For the cat, I reference from a Russian blue because their fur and eye color is so lovely.

The paw prints on the ribbon is noticeable but I wonder if you can see the small cat head in the bow. I don't usually post it when I thought that the lineart for this picture was pretty nice without the colors on it so going to show you as well. This picture took about 3 hrs so I am able to record the process video for it any maybe upload it in a bit. :)
