Lil' Genshin Heads Part 2 + Pin Making {Process Post}
The Whole Gang is Here!
I finally finished making everyone that looks like a fancy character in Genshin into a derpy head! And yes, that means Unknown God haha. This batch was pretty hard to me because some of the characters are a bit tricky with the details and to simplify. Some things I purposely left out is Scaramouche's veil and Xiangling's Guoba. I might go back and add in Dainsleif's blue eye markings.
Working on Pins
From all the feedback I decided to go ahead and try to turn them all into pins! Hence, my rather quietness for the past day as I really REALLY just sat down and went at it haha.
Some things to note is that the final designs will be even more simplified as pins because even though the characters look pretty simple, there is a lot of colors still for them and I really want to keep it around 6 colors for less for each pin. It's going to take some time to work it out (staring at Xiao, there might have to be some color exceptions) >_<
I really want to make these pins small and a bit more affordable to collect so they will be REALLY tiny like around .75- 1.25 inches tall at most. So SUPER SUPER tiny. After I'm done with the colors, I'm planning to print them out to see how well it will look.
And I will make them into stickers too in a slightly larger size so that all the effort I spent in the details won't be erased. ><
After I am done with the pins, I will probably make a Kickstarter for them or something. Otherwise, I won't be able to afford making them all.
Future Proofing
In secret, I did sketch the other unreleased characters >:D but unless Mihoyo does announce it for 1.5 update, I won't be making them into pins to respect their secrecy. I might make Ayaka though since she was officially in Beta. Because the characters are so tiny and Mihoyo doesn't create too many at once, I might be able to keep up with the pin design release.
I tried to do that with Arknights and their release was too overwhelming (but I still want to do at least a sticker sheet with my favorite characters!)
Thank you for reading and I'm off to work on these for the next week!
