Happy Chinese New Year

Here to the year of the rabbit! As my family celebrates Chinese New Year each year, its a pretty important holiday to me and so I try to draw something for it every year! ; w; / 

For this year I drew a character trying her best shadow rabbit pose. I saw some shadow puppet theater clips on Youtube and that is where I got the idea. 

Initially, she is supposed to be on a black color background but I am always super shy about going too dark with my drawings haha so in the end, I went with yellow!

The drawing is also supposed to more loose but I had way too much fun coloring the hard shadows. When I get sucked into it, I always lose track of time and the end result became so clean! / w/ So I get to submit a clean drawing instead of a sketch this year woo.
