Happy B-day Razor Genshin Impact Drawing

A quick lil drawing of Razor for his birthday because he is my current favorite character in genshin. I spent many hours today working so I'm glad for this break u vu

Even though it was a "quick" doodle, it took me about 1.5-2 hrs to draw. I was trying to achieve a feeling of quickness (not thinking too hard and just letting mistakes stay) and a feeling of a moment (just capturing the light right on the picture) Because of the act of trying to be purposefully messy, this drawing took some time to paint and erase patches of light. It also lost a bit of effortlessness in it as I tried to paint too hard on the hair. I try to practice on restraining myself from adding too much details.  >.<

I posted a little too quickly so I didn't correct my errors but on social media, I forgot to add a shadow on his left eye. As you can see from the side by side, adding shadow to the eye and  really helps fill the idea that half of his face is in shadow. Because I normally color both eyes the same, I forgot to add it in. Sometimes it takes effort to be messy! :)
