Dandelion

I got around to redesigning my dandelion OC (the dandelion plushie I planned to make later this year is still in design limbo though >_<)

2019 - 2021

Two years of drawing, I feel like I improved a lot. My style became less chibi. Her initial backstory is like a dandelion fairy so she is light and fluffy. Before, all I know how to do is to add ruffles to everything. I gave her design super bright colors and a lot of ruffles. It became a huge pain to draw ruffles every time! 

Her old design is like a young yellow dandelion. Her new design matched that of the white pom pom of an old dandelion. Her new dress is more form fitting and less messy. I change her stockings to be grey to match the stalk of a floating dandelion seed. Why was it red before haha?

New Outfits

I really enjoyed redesigning her and making her less fantasy and a bit more realistic modern with a touch of fairy. Dandelion is not a design I will draw often but I think this re-design makes her more flexible to draw!
