Dandebunny Plushie Update #1

I got the pictures for my first plushie prototype today! 

Now, the long slow road to refinements begins.

As expected, it looks super derpy. I realized I never sent my manu a front profile reference for the plushie so the angle of the face looks super off. It looks like someone took a cotton ball and pasted some eyes to it xD.

So my first round of refinements will be to fix the expression. I sent my manu a more detailed image of how the expression should look like and hopefully it will be fixed for next round. 

Second, I felt that the cloth was perfect for the plushie, but because the plushie is so small, it looks rather sparse. I decided to try a thicker minky fur instead. I know it might not match the little soft look but I think for this design, it is more important that the shape looks a bit fuller so it looks a bit more refined and detailed instead of super derpy and squishy.

I think the fur will be the hardest part of the process so I expected it will take a few more rounds to get it right. 

Third, they used felt for the tail and the earpieces even though I specified minky fur. I attached a more specific image and referred to it again. 

Fourth, they completely forgotten the legs. I sent them a reference image and I hope they added it in for the next round. 

I should be getting refinements in a few weeks so I will update you guys again on the process then!
