Calico {Process Post}

Hello! Today I got my first Covid shot. ^^ I'm super scared of needles but managed to trooped through it. At the moment, feeling super great except my left arm feels like something has used it like a punching bag haha.

Until my arm recovered in about a day, I will take a break from drawing today and tomorrow but I still want to post something today so here is a picture I'm currently working on, a character based off a calico cat. I haven't post this yet on twitter because I plan to redraw it for the third time again.

The first time I drew this picture over a month ago, I didn't like how her hair looks too untamed like a lion and she looks a bit scary.

The second time (this posting) I changed her face to look warmer but I felt like her colors feels off. As a calico cat, it shouldn't look too red and the orange pants are not working.

I hope to maybe give this a third try later on when I change her outfit to be a bit sportier and try to figure out how to wrap a coat around her back. I really like this concept and don't want to post it on social media until its ready and I don't usually mind drawing a picture many times over again until it looks right. ^^
