Barbara - Summertime Sparkle Genshin Impact Drawing {Process Post}

A drawing of Barbara from Genshin Impact in her summertime sparkle outfit. I sketched her out many months ago but haven't had time to finish it. u vu /

Over the past few weeks I lined the drawing on and off so the end result was pretty different from the sketch. I tried a few techniques to make the picture feels hot and warm. I use a pinkish hue highlights on the drawing to capture some of that sunny glow. I also blended Barbara's hair by picking up colors from the clouds and pink glows. Doing so makes the picture feels more cohesive. 

I don't really draw backgrounds a lot because it is not my specialty but I try hard when I do so that at least I improve a little on it each time u vu /
