Autumn Melan {Process Post}

Process GIF of my Fall Melan drawing. The GIF doesn't include the edit in the end where I add the shadow to the leg. 

I got the idea to draw a picture of Melan with leaves really quickly I tweaked the pose so many times! I think I spent more time on the lineart this time than the color since I already knew I'm going with fall colors for this drawing. 

When I draw, I tweak a lot. Even when the lineart is done, I will still try to improve it. Even moving a hair strand can add a little bit more motion to a drawing. 

The lineart is really messy with the leaves so I drew the character first before leaves. I also changed the leaves from being more floaty to being more flowly and almost like it's blowing around her. 

I tweaked her eyes a lot. I am not the best at drawing fully expressive eyes and I really want to work on it. ^^
