Arctic Fox {Process Post}

Postcard design for January reward! Patreons will receive a double side postcard. The front side will have the flower wreath in silver foil and the back side will have the flower wreath in line art color. / w/ I did that because I wasn't sure if I should foil or not haha.

But here is my Arctic fox character in her full size image! January took so long to draw. A while back, I plan for Arctic Fox to be the January theme but I wasn't sure how to draw her design. 

I drew a first version of her for the postcard design: "Round 1 Design". That was the original illustration for the postcard and I finished it around November 10th. It was the design I drew for the Patreon pin club (hence the pom pom on her outfit). After submitting the pin club design for production, I keep looking at my illustration and I felt so unsatisfied. I feel that her face was too blank and also her outfit was not fluffy enough. So I revised her outfit to maximize the floof! It took me past the submission deadline to finish but I think it's worth it in the end. Her design looks more interesting to the eye and there is a more Arctic chill in her eyes. 

Originally I also considered drawing her summer outfit behind the postcard as well but I ran out of time! Maybe I can draw it for printing later / w/ *adding it to my huge wip pile haha*
