2021 Year End Summary and Reflections

Hello, another year down and this year felt like it went by in a flash. So here it is, one of my favorite piece from each month this year summarizing my accomplishments and growth as an artist.

This year, I felt like its one of my most stable years ever. I felt like I didn't improve as much artistically but I improve stylistically. I feel more comfortable with with my style. Previous years I experimented more and did stranger poses and angles but for this year, I want to finesse my style. Most of my poses and facial expressions are pretty similar. I spend more time drawing fun outfits and playing around with colors and shading.

Blue and reds are the colors I love using the most this year and a lot of my art is a mix of blues and reds. Such as my bonsai girl using violet blue and muted reds to the light and icy blues and pinks of my December art. 

Around of the end of the year, I didn't have as much time to draw as I wish due to overall holiday busyness / w/ and I felt like, going towards next year, it will be even busier! But I hope to have time to keep on drawing and improving.

Goals! 

My goal for next year is pretty simple! I want to keep improving on drawing fashion and style and maybe focus less on background art. I also want to keep working on stylistic anatomy and a mix of fanart and original art. / w/
