October 2021 Theme Announcement: "Fossil"

/ w/ Because it is a spooky month I try to go with a less cute concept. This month's theme is Fossil, the study of ancient bones, featuring an ancient record keeper who keeps a vast collection of old plants and bones. 

She feels is out of place in modern times but at place next to her collection where she will spend hours examining. Her dress is decorated with imagery of bones and she has a tattoo of a vine on her neck. I wanted to focus on invertebrates and plant life for this month's theme because even though large skeletons are so cool, there is such a fragility in the preservation of such tiny creatures.

The sticker club merch for this month will be a 4 x 6 inch double sided postcard, 6 x 4 inch kiss cut sticker sheet with raised gold foil, and a vinyl sticker of the pin. For this month, I wanted to experiment with a new kind of raised gold foil. In the end result I hope that the design will have a slight bump to it to feel more like a picture frame. 

The Fossil pin is a gold metal, 38mm x 45.5mm hard enamel pin, and features 2 butterfly clutches on the back so that it's extra secure.
