July 2024 Theme Announcement: "Seashell"

July is pretty hot where I live so it's a good time to listen to seashells by the seashore, haha. July's theme is Seashell featuring a character I drew before of a girl who wants to listen to the sounds of the sea. She wears loose beachy clothes with wavy patterns on it and a headphone with the symbol of a shell. If you ever pick up a conch shell at the beach and placed it next to your ear, the inside vibrations of the conch sounds like crashing waves. It's so magical but at the same time, so grounded in reality.

If you ever visit the natural history museums and see a seashell display, its really fun. You see seashells as large as two human heads and as small as the tip of your nail. I love the shapes and variety of seashells and wanted to include a variety in this month's illustration, mixing with a wavy pattern that is the vibe I get when I listen to a conch shell.

The Seashell pin is a rose gold metal, 41mm x 32.6mm hard enamel pin, and features 2 butterfly clutches on the back so that it's extra secure.
