April 2026 Theme Announcement: "Porcelain"

Hello! April is the month of the Porcelain theme featuring a young lady wearing an outfit decorated with patterns of blue and white. When I look at old and beautiful Chinese porcelain pieces, I was inspired a lot by the intricate patterns and simple color scheme. This theme, for me, is less about the pottery and more about the artistry of it such as the patterns and blue color! I reimagined the pieces of pottery as ceramic butterflies that flies around my character. 

To be true to the theme, this month, I am trying a new pin technique that called dyed enamel so that the design will feel like a pure blue and white artwork. 

The "Porcelain" pin is a dyed metal, 37.3 x 50.8mm hard enamel pin, and features 2 butterfly clutches on the back so that it's extra secure.
