April 2022 Theme Announcement: "Kintsugi"

April's theme is Kintsugi featuring a pottery aficionado who loves to collect kintsugi pottery! From my research, "Kintsugi" means gold repair. There are many deep meanings behind Kintsugi that stems from appreciation and care of pottery that is damaged. ^ o ^ That and gold, lotsa gold foil!! Haha. 

But seriously, when I first saw this concept, I thought that it was a cool art style for pottery but reading up on it, it was so much more. While I didn't fully managed to explore that topic in this theme due to time, I love that for Kintsugi pottery, it is the mistakes that makes the beauty shine and broken objects have value. Learn something new :D 

The sticker club merch for this month will be a 6 x6  inch double sided postcard (with foil printing on the back) , a 4 x 6 inch kiss cut sticker sheet with foil accents, and a vinyl sticker of the pin.

The Kintsugi pin is a gold metal, 31mm x 36mm hard enamel pin, and features 2 butterfly clutches on the back so that it's extra secure.
